About My Work
Core Values
My work focuses on providing information about the path a typical cultic journey follows. I educate survivors, families and broader audiences on coercion and indoctrination in a comprehensive, digestible and actionable way.
With perspectives gained from my own personal experiance, I speak to audiences believing that the power of information and subsequent application creates lasting impacts that drive positive change.
PRESENTATIONS & SPEAKING
WORKSHOPS
Interactive Learning
Workshops are designed to expand horizons through education that is followed by practical, interactive methods that put information into action. They create a safe space for participants to explore and share their own stories with the support of others to foster personal growth while also providing tools that can readily be put into practice.

CONFERENCES
Tailored Speeches
Customizable in length, my talks fit well into conferences serving universities, both large and small-scale events, wellness and self-help communities and other organizations interested in anything from my personal story to strategic frameworks that help people break free and heal from trauma and abuse.
PODCASTS
Candid Conversations
For a long-form and unscripted conversation, topics can include, emerging as the world's first supermodel, managing a double life that is not your standard version of having two families, living inside a dangerous religious cult, reclaiming your life, rebuidling bridges and relationships, or all of the above.

Philosophy
My Mission
I have come to understand that no one can truly save another person. People save themselves. What I do is support and facilitate the process by providing relevant information. For me, that information came in the form of a book that I almost didn’t read. A single chapter describing someone else’s experience in language so precise it could have been written about me. I learned I didn’t need to be rescued. I needed to be ready.
And so my goal is to put resources within reach which provide perspective that broadens the sense of what is possible. More knowledge means more options. More options mean more choices. I aim to get people ready for what's next by providing knowledge that can be used as an engine of change because one door that wasn’t visible before is the difference between staying and leaving.
How did a kid from a good family in the upper-middle-class suburbs of Philadelphia, who played football and graduated from Princeton University, find himself living the jet-set life of world's top male model simultaneously while also unwittingly belonging to a destructive religious cult?

TALKING ABOUT RECOVERY
Read My Bog
I spent fifteen years inside a high-control religious group and the better part of the twenty-five years since trying to understand how it happened and what it means. Not just for me, but for what it reveals about the relationships and dynamics that most of us navigate in some form, whether we have ever heard the word cult or not.
The posts you will find in my blog share ideas about identity, belonging, manipulation, recovery, and the basic human needs that make all of these things matter. I hope my writings speak to you and you find things in them that are useful in your relationships and life.
